Qualities for a great law practice
March 30, 2011 Law Practice Management

I’ve been thinking about what qualities it takes to have a great law practice.  Of course, it takes many things and qualities, but underlying is the requirement that you be both a leader and a manager of your practice.

Leaders motivate, innovate, move in new directions, and make changes. Managers plan, follow through, and achieve goals.

To stay fresh and productive, you need to have both manager and leadership qualities.  You need to be fresh to keep up or ahead of the curve.  You need to be productive to get your ideas implemented.

There are plenty of great books out there on leadership and management.  You’ve probably read them.  What do you want to be doing to enhance your leadership and management qualities ?
